December of 2020 our first donation was delivered to an elementary school boy who wanted to participate in the YMCA basketball league but could not afford the fee.  A check was distributed to the liaison to cover the cost.  The goal was to promote collaborating with teammates to help the child with forming friendships.  The guardian was so thankful and felt this would be beneficial to the boy’s self-esteem.
